The cheerful ballet musical is based on Gianni Rodari's tale about the adventures of the onion boy and his friends in a magical countryside. Together, they struggle with the cunning Prince, Lemon, and his fruit suit, who seizes power over the town's entire vegetables. It's a tale that represents diligence, honor, and nobility. 
"Chipollino" is one of the best modern children's ballet performances that has brought world fame to the outstanding Armenian composer, Karen Khachaturyan.
